The Challenge
Touted as "B2B workflow for accounts payable", Ivrnet Invoice is described as "a low-cost, high-value way of processing invoices".

Offered entirely as an eService, Ivrnet Invoice provides an invoice processing service allowing companies to register vendors that will be able to invoice them for services rendered. Companies can even pre-approve amounts for each vendor, etc.

In turn, vendors doing business with clients of ivr.net can choose from a number of IVR or Internet-based methods to submit their invoices - giving them added flexibility of location and time.

Companies then receive XML/EDI transactions right to their Legacy applications and financial systems.

The Solution
For this project we utilized our Business Process Engine (BPE) as the base, utilizing the built-in workflow and routing constructs to handle the sometimes-complex Invoice business processes. A web front end was created, and the entire service was made available via the Internet and IVR channels. Work item queues provide direct user interfaces, and form-based processes are completed and routed based on conditions such as value, time, etc.

Built-in features such as notification are utilized to provide notification to the various users and provide reminders that work has been put into their queue, etc.
